The solution

In conjunction with Carbon Cybernetic, we created a next-generation Brain-Computer interface for state-of-the-art Neuroscience research. This project involved the creation of an ultra-compact, low power, Wireless Neuron Monitoring system that acquires neural signals from custom diamond electrodes through a sophisticated high precision multichannel ADC.

The system relays data over wireless link to desktop software customised by us—while it stores the information in a high-capacity SD-card for further examination. The whole system is battery powered and optimised for long study or observation periods.

We were able to tackle all challenges facing this project including making the device compact, easy to use, and low powered—without compromising on accuracy or noise-floor of the acquired data.

Bionic Vision Backpack

Developed in partnership with Bionic Vision Technologies, the back pack aimed to enable portable bionic eye implant operation in a research setting or at home.

THIM sleep monitor

Working with THIM, we helped develop a highly compact sleep tracker designed to help improve sleep for people worldwide. As a result, a better night’s sleep is now at your fingertip.

Loop +

Working together with Loop+, we built a pressure sensor acquisition system for wheelchair users, to prevent pressure injuries.
