In 2013, we created one of the earliest Bluetooth enabled location service technologies: the AP Locate beacon. This technology was created to enable new and immersive visitor experiences within museums and art galleries.
Bluetooth location services are not new now. But in 2013, we were possibly the first to create such a service, well before Apple locate and similar products.
The AP Locate beacon was created in partnership with experiential design company, Art Processors. It was created to enable new, immersive visitor experiences within museums and art galleries.
The custom hardware and firmware delivered best-in-class location services to iOS applications and allowed for our client to become a world-leader in this space.
